Heading home from Bonnieux, we saw a bridge that Apt claims as its own, although it's not in Apt at all. It is a Roman bridge, and quite beautiful, stretching over a rough and tumble section of river that apparently sees great swings in water levels. We played in the sand for an hour or so as we watched a thunderstorm roll in. The rain started spattering down just as we got back to the car, and we drove home in a downpour. I personally love that kind of end to a day.
