the end of the day in Bonnieux
After walking all over this very steep town, we were hot and exhausted, so we stopped for an ice cream and a coffee. On our way out of town, we saw a museum of French bakeries, and just had to stop. Below is a picture of two stand mixers, the wooden one on the left powered by a very large person, the bluish one in the corner by enough electricity to power a small village. This was a surprisingly interesting museum, although being a museum in a very small town, it also has anything anyone ever deemed "historical," like old bottles, rocks, receipts, and things utterly unrelated to baking.
