the view from the ground

There is no end of amazing, beautiful, strange, and intriguing things to see and try in Paris. Here are a few we encountered walking home from the Louvre.

Ria at a Metro station decorated with glass jewels.

Ria playing on a giant interactive art piece, consisting of pillars rising varying heights above the ground, and water coursing below it.

A beautiful lace-covered building. I wonder if we can get our house to look like this.

A new playground. Paris is just wonderful for kids, and everywhere we went we found something fun for Ria.

Ria with Kate, an American girl from Virginia; the two played together at the playground for a long, happy hour
